Alpha Pi Chi is a community service sorority at Bemidji State University. We were founded in 1993 by a group of women who wanted to make Bemidji a better place. We do a lot of community service events during the year. Every October, we bounce on a trampoline for 24 hours straight to raise money for breast cancer. On Halloween, we go door to door collecting canned goods to donate to the local food shelf. In the winter we sit outside in a box for a few hours and raise awareness for people who do not have the money for clothing to stay warm, so we collect clothes to donate to the homeless shelter. We go to the humane society a lot and walk the dogs. We also help out with service events throughout the community and are always looking for new things to help out with. Jen pledged in in the fall of 2005 with Jessica. Jen is going to be graduating in December and can not wait. She enjoys riding horses and hanging out with her girls. She is from Cambridge Minnesota and her horse Elvis is the love of her life. Jen's Apex Name is Rockstar. Fortunately, she is graduating this semester. Good riddance. She should have joined Delta.

Hi, my name's Emily. I transferred from the University of Minnesota Morrie to come to BSU. I am currently a sophomore, majoring in Psychology, with the hope of becoming a sex therapist someday soon. I love animals, especially dogs and cats, although I am afraid of fish (except for my goldfish, Haggar the Horrible). I am originally from Stacy, Minnesota, where I've lived all of my life until heading off to college. I enjoy reading, napping, and playing with animals. I am very excited to be pledging for Alpha Pi Chi because it will be an opportunity to get to know some really nice ladies with similar interests!

My name is Kathleen Theede-Birdshall. I'm from Isanti, MN. I am a twin/triplet. I have two other sisters and one brother. This is my first year in APEX and I love it. My sorority name is Kat. I'm in APEX with my sister Kirstin, also known as Kit. I love to play soccer and I joined rugby for the first time this year. I am a freshman in college this year and I'm going for Early Childhood Education. I want to teach preschool/kindergarten age. My hobbies are playing soccer, hanging out with friends, and doing church activities. My favorite color is pink.

My name is Kirstin Theede-Birdshall. I am from Isanti, MN. I am a freshman in college. I want to major in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education as a 1st grade teacher. This is my first year joining a sorority. APEX has been a great a fun experience. I am pledging with my identical twin sister Kathleen "Kat." I play on the BSU Women's Rugby team. During the Spring I hope to do intramural Soccer. My favorite sport is soccer and I love playing it. I have played summer soccer since I was in 1st or 2nd grade until I was 17. I played school soccer for six years. My favorite color is blue.
